"You have to come to Cabo to believe it!
You may have heard something like "OMG in Mexico everybody is shooting everybody" or something like " There is a massive Drug war in Mexico so don't go or you may get hurt"... There is certainly some truth about this, but is happening basically on the border towns and some places within the central part of the country.
Los Cabos and the Baja Peninsula is by far one of the safest places in Mexico due to its geography. We are surrounded by the majestic Sea of Cortes and the Pacific Ocean, the widest part is around 120 miles and 1000 miles long connected by one narrow 2 lane highway, so there aren't many places for the bad guys to run and/or hide! So if you are planing to take a full week vacation or even a long weekend getaway, please consider Los Cabos to do so, and I guarantee you that you will not regret... have a great day!!! :)"
